Review: Born This Way - The Song

Okay. First of all, sorry for the change of plans because I promised you an in-Depth Song by Song Review of Nicki Minaj's CD, Pink Friday. But Apparently This Song Came Along and I just have to make this review.

As Plenty of my Friends and Family know, I am A Die-Hard Little Monster.
I have been counting down to the song for 2 weeks and It's Finally OUT!

Overview of the song:
This Song Premiered on February 11, 2011
and the chorus of this song was sampled by Lady Gaga in her acceptance speech in the MTV VMA Awards .
This song is about utter Liberation, Equality, and Mostly Being who you are and Embracing it.
Lady Gaga wrote this Amazingly Epic song in Just 10 Minutes.
This song went #1 On The iTunes charts in more than 20 countries in Less than 4 Hours, Surpassing Taylor Swift's Record for "Mine" (Sorry Tay!)

Let's Get Started With The Review after the Jump!

The Song Starts with Lady Gaga saying "It Doesn't Matter If You Love Him,
Or Capital H-I-M. Just Put Your Paws Up, Cause you were Born This Way,Baby"
Epic Lyrics. Then the song progresses to Lady Gaga
Telling somewhat of a story About when she was in her mother's Budoir, Putting Makeup and Whatnot.
The First verse talks about Lady Gaga getting encouragement from her mother and that everybody is born a Superstar and there is Totally Nothing wrong with loving who you are. Because "He" (God) Made You Perfect, Babe

The Chorus burst out with total rhythm and you get high when you listen to it. (At Least For Me. HA)
"I'm Beautiful In My Way Cause God Makes
No Mistakes I'm On The Right Track,
Baby I was Born this way
Don't Hide Yourself in Regret
Just Love yourself and you're set
I'm On The Right Track, Baby I was Born This Way"
a Post-Chorus Part is included and this goes to the second verse.

The Second verse starts with "Give Yourself Prudence and Love Your Friends"
She Talks about being discrete and to love our friends.
"In the religion of the insecure
I Must Love myself and Respect my Youth"
This talks about her religion, Catholics. Which criticize her sometimes of being
satanic or Shit Like That.
"A different lover is not a sin
Believe capital H-I-M (hey hey hey)
I love my life I love this record and
Mi amore vole fe yah (love needs faith)"
These line tell that you can love whoever you want, and again, the Believe Capital H-I-M Part again.
Gaga tells about loving her life, and that Love needs faith.
::Sorry! I Don't Speak that Language::

The chorus bangs off again in an epically amazing way that takes us to the bridge.

"Don't Be A Drag, Just Be A Queen"
These words are all over the song and are given more emphasis in the
bridge. Here's how it goes:
"Don’t be a drag, just be a queen
Whether you’re broke or evergreen
You’re black, white, beige, chola descent
You’re lebanese, you’re orient
Whether life’s disabilities
Left you outcast, bullied, or teased
Rejoice and love yourself today
‘Cause baby you were Born This Way

No matter gay, straight, or bi,

Lesbian, transgendered life

I’m on the right track baby
I was born to survive
No matter black, white or beige
Chola or orient made
I’m on the right track baby

I was born to be brave"
To be honest, this is my favorite part. Because this could relate to pretty much all the people. And that everybody was born to do something. Whether it is to
Survive or to be brave or anything in between.

The Final Chorus Kicks off and the song ends with Gaga singing
"I was Born This Way-Hey"
and fades off to Lady Gaga saying
"Same DNA, But Born This Way"

----------------OVERALL RATING: 5 Stars-------------------

Don't Call Me Biased because i'm a die hard fan, but this song Really is Epic.
It's like the new, improved, and Revamped version of Madonna's Express Yourself. A new anthem for people of all kinds.
I Also love the Bass Punch in this song. HA.

Note: If you are a Lady Gaga fan, Please buy the song on iTunes or Buy it somewhere LEGALLY. Help Lady GAGA Reach the top of charts!

Trivia:
  • It Is Rumored that Jo Calderone is the background echo in the intro! ;)
