Review: Jessie J - Nobody's Perfect - Music Video

Oh Yes. The Release week of Jessie J's Debut Album and she doesn't fail to amaze! She's rising and slowly becoming a humongous star and I already love her to her little bits!

In case you don't know who Jessie J is, She's a breakthrough artist having amazing songs like Price Tag and Do It Like A Dude. She's totally amazing and spunky. She also co-penned the smash Miley Cyrus hit, Party In The U.S.A.

Yes, she Is a lyrical genius and she may look fierce and mean, but she isn't. She's actually sweet and preeeettttyyyy.  =)

Synopsis:

Well this video revolves around an old house. This house has Jessie and her Tea Party friends in it, A Tar-Black Jessie, A Golden Jessie, A saint Jessie, a Bound Jessie, and a hallway-singing Jessie.

The Video Starts with a Girl saying: "If You Look Closely, The eye picks up more than you think. A simple blur becomes something. A light becomes a shape. A world becomes colorful."
Then Jessie comes into view, a man then said: "Look, Into my eyes."

The intro and 1st verse starts. With Jessie running through a hallway and It shows the Tea Party Jessie for short frames. Jessie is then shown singing the 1st lines of the song with her tea party friends. Crazy tea party friends. Jessie looks around on them and she shows disgust on her face. Throughout the 1st Verse, Jessie is like showing restraint. I guess by the lyrics, she has learned her lesson now. She removes her Faux Fur Coat and that signals the Chorus.

The chorus is full of alternate shots between the Tea Party Jessie and the Hallway Jessie. Jessie stands up on the tea table and struts then holds on to the chandelier. The hallway Jessie is just swinging on her little swing while singing the lyrics of the song.

A brief interlude ensued. It shows Jessie in a room filled with clocks. Ticking away and making Jessie seem annoyed and insane. The 2nd Verse then starts with the Golden Jessie singing the lines. Going around and looking at her watches while doing so. It also shows some short shots of the Hallway Jessie running around the hallways.

This is my favorite part of the video. Jessie is a beautiful, dirty, bitch! Now this starts with the Tar Black Jessie. Swimming in black tar, covering herself in the process. Alternate shots of all the other Jessies are shown.

The breakdown then shows Jessie in a room filled with singing lips, reminiscent to The Rocky Horror Show, but with a twist: Studded and Designed lips! It shows Jessie bound by neon lights and her makeup changes in every close-up. Then, a saint Jessie comes into view and she makes the ground explode! Literally.
Then, the Hallway Jessie walks closer, and the rooms behind her explode. Soon enough, the hallway was destroyed.

The final chorus is mostly all performance showing alternate shots of all the Jessies featured in this video.
Towards the end, the windows of the house burst, and the tea party Jessie is shown broken down, and then the house was shown, smoking, and burning from inside. Fade to Black.

OVERALL RATING: 5 Stars

Jessie Just knows how to impress me. She is no just that bubbly pop Price Tag-ish type of girl. She has different personas. She shows lots of sides. This is by far my 2nd favorite Jessie J Video.  (1st is Do it Like a Dude).  She's just that simple UK artist that I love. Like Pixie Lott and Lily Allen.

In Three Words, I LOVE IT.
